I was "made in Germany" and "born in the USA" as my parent immigrated to the United States shortly before my birth. We spent a couple years in Portage, Indiana before my parents realized it was simply too cold up there and were swept away by the palm tree lined street of McGregor Boulevard. Our family moved to Cape Coral in 1971 where we saw canals being dug, city water and sewer put in the SE Cape. City Hall was in temp office trailer with Avatar on Del Prado.  The small Catholic Church building (now a reception hall) was the end of town in the northerly direction and Santa Barbara was the end in the westerly direction.  Over the years, streets widened, bridges were added and houses popped up every where. With over 400 miles of canals where you can have your boat behind your house and mild weather, you realize it truly is paradise.

In 1988, I became a real estate professional and have been in the local market of Lee County ever since. Recently, we have expanded our market area to include Collier and Charlotte counties.
